Shirley Nannini - Board President, director and instructor

After thirty-three years as a teacher, coach and administrator at Evanston Township High School, Shirley retired from public education and became a  student at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes, pursuing a life time passion. In 2012, Shirley began collaborating on a long-term project to   photograph wind and is part of the duo that established Wind Flow Photography. Since 2012 Wind Flow has exhibited throughout the United States in group, solo, gallery and museum shows.  Longing to work with high school students again, she created the FreshLens Chicago program and became its director and an instructor in FreshLens Chicago.

Denise Orlin -Board TreasureR, assistant director and instructor

Denise is an photography instructor at Richard Stromberg Photography classes where she teaches Photo 1 and 2.  Denise has spent the last 15 years as a freelance photographer, covering everything from corporate events, interiors, weddings, to children and family portraiture. She is currently focusing her energies on fine art photography. Denise has been involved with Freshlens since its inception and loves working with the students involved.


Nick Sinnot – Board of Directors

Nick is a partner and director at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes. He has taught numerous levels of photography for the last 5 years and written the curriculum for several classes including the popular Drips, Drops and Illusions Workshop and Lightroom In-Depth 7-week Class.  He enjoys photographing landscapes, sports, architecture, real estate, his family of 4 children and his amazing wife!

Erinn Wehrman – Board of Directors

Erinn is an instructor at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes where she teaches Photo 1.  When she is not working, you'll find her making mischief (and usually a mess) with her three goofball children.  Inspired every day by those children, she loves capturing whimsy and joy through her photography.  Whether she is photographing families, athletes, kids, couples, expectant moms, or Lego Stormtroopers, she loves to create images that capture the fun that is our lives. 


 

Danny Howard - Lab Lead Supervisor and Instructor

Danny lived in Norwich, in the United Kingdom, before moving to Chicago in   2008.  Danny is a drummer and a photographer.  He was nominated for a Grammy in 2016 with the New Budapest Orpheum Society, plays in his own band `Contrabanda, is the musical director for the Hanneford Circus and teaches percussion in the Chicago Area.  Danny currently teaches photography at Richard Stromberg’s Chicago Photography Classes and he is also Lab coordinator. Danny’s love for exploration and photography has taken him all over the world and he can often be seen photographing an abandon building.
