FreshLens Basic Course
Our mission is to provide educational arts programming to students from under-resourced areas in Chicago while giving students an opportunity to develop skills and gain confidence through the vehicle of photography. We promote individual growth, team building, good work habits, and responsibility. While FreshLens Chicago gives preference to students with financial needs, other students not meeting income requirements may also apply.
The students meeting income requirements will be asked for documentation and this will be outlined at the mandatory, in-person information meeting. FreshLens Chicago requires some documentation of family income to confirm eligibility to participate in the free program. A wide variety of documents can be provided to demonstrate your family’s general income levels.
